Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship?
I decided to take the apprenticeship route because it’s an excellent way to gain essential experience and achieve a recognised qualification. I am more of a practical learner and prefer to be more hands on when dealing with tasks. Another plus is that you earn while you’re learning so I don’t have to worry about University bills in the future.
What have you learnt from doing an apprenticeship?
I have learnt a lot of different skills during my apprenticeship so far, such as communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving and prioritising my workload. I have also learnt a lot from my IT colleagues.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I see myself having a long-term career in IT and progressing in the IT field.
