National Apprenticeship Week 2020 was a blast, with all 12 of our apprentices doing their bit to raise money for charity, whilst showcasing their achievements and celebrating just how great apprenticeship schemes are.
The week kicked off with a mini crazy golf challenge – organised entirely by the apprentices – which saw colleagues from across the company lining up to take their shots on the fun indoor fairway.
On day two of National Apprenticeship Week, Catalyst won the Employer of the Year award at the YMCA’s National Apprenticeship Awards, which this year took place at the House of Commons.
Another highlight of the week was The Apprentice Challenge in which three teams of apprentices competed to sell the most of their home-made food produce to colleagues. Houghton Hall’s team triumphed in the challenge by selling £68-worth of their irresistible desserts.
The action-packed week also featured a speed dating afternoon with members of the executive and leadership team and trips to Dormer’s Wells School and Featherstone School.
Best of all, our wonderful apprentices managed to raise £313 for Cancer Research through all their hard work, making National Apprenticeship Week 2020 our most successful yet.
