You will help the organisation better understand and use their data to constantly improve the services they provide. This will include developing BI Solutions using the Microsoft BI Stack – primarily Power BI – considering both back-end organisation of data and front-end experience for end-users. In line with this you will also be responsible for the gathering of report requirements from internal users and monitoring user access and security, ensuring new and current solutions are fit for purpose. You will keep technical documentation up to date and work closely with colleagues to provide a support and delivery service to end users and managers to resolve any issues within IT. Additionally, you will be managing BI development changes through source code control, in line with Change Control Policy.
You will have excellent knowledge of Power BI capabilities and have experience in developing creative and insightful Power BI visualizations. You will have very good understanding of SQL and general database systems. You will have knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and ideally have knowledge of applications and data within the Housing sector. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively and have a strong attention to detail. You will be able to work in a logical, systematic and methodical manner and be able to priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
